The Blue River Wastewater Treatment Plant receives wastewater from the towns of Silverthorne and Dillon as well as the county areas of Dillon Valley, Wildernest and Mesa Cortina. The wastewater is treated with multiple processes to remove solids, nutrients, chemicals, bacteria and viruses before being released back to the Blue River.
